According to ESPN.com, Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall is in intensive care after being stabbed by a woman in Miami.
Marshall was taken to a hospital, where he was in intensive care after surgery Saturday morning, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Marshall's agent said he was hopeful, but wouldn't confirm details of the incident. He went on to say "This is a very difficult time for Brandon and family, thankfully he will make a full recovery... We simply ask that his privacy is respected".
With the NFL lockout looming, Marshall had big plans for what he was going to with his career.
In August, Marshall said he would attempt to play for the Denver Nuggets if any games were cancelled.
"Not pursuing—I'm going to be on an NBA team, seriously"
No matter what happens with the lockout, let's all hope for the best for Brandon Marshall.
