Can Cleveland Cavaliers G Dion Waiters Actually Win Rookie of the Year?

Being a high draft pick on the Cleveland Cavaliers means living up to a very high standard.

Kyrie Irving and LeBron James had some of the better rookie seasons in recent memory when both won the NBA's top freshman award in 2012 and 2004, respectively.

This year, the pressure falls on Dion Waiters, the Cavs' fourth overall pick out of Syracuse University.

Unlike Irving and James, however, Waiters comes in from a situation where he wasn't heralded as a star.

In fact, it's now almost common knowledge that Waiters came off the bench for the Orange, averaging just 12.6 points and 2.5 assists per game.

Despite these stats, the Cavs saw something they liked in Waiters.

The 6'4" guard played with no fear and was able to split double-teams and get to the basket almost on command.

The Cavs believed his skills were almost Dwyane Wade-like and preferred him over anyone in the draft not named Anthony Davis.

Now over a month into the season, Waiters is enjoying a solid rookie campaign.  As of November 30th, he was averaging 15.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.3 steals in 31.9 minutes a night.

Good numbers for a rookie shooting guard, yes.  Good enough for NBA Rookie of the Year?

Not quite.

Currently, Waiters is being out-shined by another rookie guard—Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail BlazersLillard has Portland off to a respectable 6-9 start while averaging 19.1 points and 6.1 assists per game, both first among rookies.

Anthony Davis, the favorite for the award heading into the season, has played just six games due to injury but has performed well when healthy.  If he can get back to the court for the majority of the season and continue his current pace, Davis would also be ahead of Waiters.

The only other real contender for the award currently is Michael Kidd-Gilchrist of the Charlotte BobcatsMKG is putting up 11.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.2 steals for the surprising 7-7 Bobcats, who have already matched their win total from last season.

If Waiters wants to make a surge for Rookie of the Year, the time is now.

With Kyrie Irving out with an injury to his non-shooting hand, Waiters has seen an increase in minutes and has been asked to handle the ball more often.

This expansion of his role has been met with mixed results.

While Waiters' scoring numbers have gone up (17.6 points last five games), the efficiency at which he's been scoring has not.

In 15 games this season, Waiters has shot better than 50 percent in a game exactly three times.  Eight times his shooting has been worse than 40 percent and three games Waiters has shot under 30 percent.

For a player whose main responsibility is to score, these are alarming numbers.

Waiters certainly isn't the leader for the top rookie award, but he isn't out of the race by any means, either.

If Waiters can increase his scoring efficiency and help the Cavs (3-12) win more often in the process, we could very well see Cleveland take home the third Rookie of the Year Award in under a decade.

Topical Simvastatin Shown To Accelerate Wound Healing In Diabetes

Results of New Study Published in The American Journal of Pathology Delayed wound healing is a major complication of diabetes because the physiological changes in tissues and cells impair the wound healing process. This can result in additional disease outcomes such as diabetic foot ulcer, a significant cause of morbidity in the growing population of diabetic patients. First Drive: Retrobuilt 1969 Mustang Fastback

Transforming A Late Model Mustang Into A Classic Hot Rod

Blink your eyes and take another look. While all visual cues may be telling your brain that you are staring at a near-pristine 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback, it's all a carefully crafted illusion - a very clever façade.

Hidden beneath that glistening Yellow Blaze paint, below the sculpted fiberglass and steel body panels, is a 2013 Ford Mustang GT. The retro-coupe features power-operated sport buckets with lumbar support, ice-cold air conditioning, six airbags and a full factory warranty. Lest anyone forget, it also comes with a modern fuel-injected 5.0-liter V8 generating 420 horsepower.

The team at Retrobuilt, out of Lamar, Missouri, is known for recreating Carroll Shelby's iconic cars of yesteryear. Yet instead of restoring worn classics to like-new condition, a process that delivers an immaculate muscle car yet retains all of its undesirable traits, they fabricate classics on current-generation Ford S197-platforms. In their own words, they "allow auto enthusiasts to benefit from the technology and manufacturing of a modern Ford Mustang while combining the classic styling of 1969 muscle cars."

Retrobuilt recently invited us to drive its 1969 Fastback mere days after its debut at the 2012 Specialty Equipment Market Association's trade show (SEMA) in Las Vegas. To make things a bit more interesting, and gauge public opinion, we chose to meet them at the entrance to Southern California's famed Mulholland Highway.

Why the Los Angeles Lakers Are Still Favorites in the Western Conference

Los Angeles Lakers fans and haters: Calm down. Just stop.

It’s November.

Relax. The Lakers are just 15 games into an 82-game extended preseason in preparation for the playoffs. The team is 5.5 games back with 67 games to play.

Los Angeles is going to be fine, and the super team will likely still represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals.

Settle down. Championships are not won before the New Year, and they aren’t lost before December.

Are you breathing yet?

The Lakers still have absurd, veteran talent that will come together.

Kobe Bryant is leading the league in scoring at 27.7 points per game and is doing so on 50 percent shooting, the highest mark of any guard who scores 20 or more points per game.

Dwight Howard is the best center in a league void of great centers. Howard is scoring 17.9 points on just under 60 percent shooting and he’s grabbing 10.5 rebounds per game. And he is still not the elite, athletic defensive player he is capable of being as he continues to come back from a serious back surgery.

So what’s wrong with the Lakers and their 7-8 record?

Other than hypercritical assaults from a network of keyboard assailants, it’s honestly just basketball. Don’t let the big picture be imprisoned by this brief period of mediocrity.

The same thing happened in LeBron James’s first season with the Miami Heat when the team started 8-7 in the month of November. They ended up making the Finals.

More proof? The Oklahoma City Thunder ended last season with a 7-7 record in the team’s last 14 games before tearing through the playoffs into the Finals. That’s just a half-game better than this Lakers team has started in November.

It’s not a hunch. There are trends in sports, and throughout the years they become easy to spot. The Vegas oddsmakers know that, and the Lakers remain the official favorites to win the West.

The Lakers are 6-4 since firing Mike Brown and remain in transition as Mike D’Antoni takes over.

Much will change by the time April rolls around.

Those modifications will include the return of two-time Most Valuable Player, Steve Nash. Did you forget about him? Currently without Nash and Steve Blake, the Lakers are playing with a third-string point guard. Bryant won't turn the ball over so much when he no longer has to play de facto point guard.

With the return of Nash, D’Antoni’s offense will be on full display, and even then it won’t be fully blossomed probably until January. Nash’s ability to ignite the pick-and-roll will enhance the play of Pau Gasol. Given, this will take yielding on Bryant’s behalf to embrace a system that doesn’t default to him going one-on-one, and that won’t be easy.

But things will come together.

The return of Nash and Blake will benefit a struggling bench. Darius Morris and Jordan Hill shouldn't combine for 38.3 minutes per game.

Rotations tighten in the postseason, so to succeed in the playoffs, the Lakers will only need three to four true bench contributors.

Antawn Jamison won't hold at 5.5 points per game much longer and Lakers management has a knack for getting the most for nothing in player acquisitions. Don’t be surprised if Ron Artest is traded in for some younger legs.

Again, things will come together.

Sure, home court matters, especially since the team stopped winning on the road after Phil Jackson’s departure, but there is still time. No team is running away with the conference.  The West is strong, but not Miami Heat strong.

There are five legitimate contending teams in the West: the Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies, San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers. Let’s not kid ourselves, mentioning any other team is just ridiculous.

While the Memphis Grizzlies are well-coached and physical, only the 2004 Detroit Pistons have won a championship without a clear superstar, dating back to the pre-Michael Jordan days.

The San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers are stylish in the regular season, but have just as many postseason question marks and neither have close to as much starting lineup talent as the Lakers.

And again, the Lakers will likely have a much deeper roster by April.

Oklahoma City looms large with talent and proof of last year’s success. Serge Ibaka’s enhanced play and the scoring of Kevin Martin has addressed any fears of losing James Harden.

Still, the Lakers, at full potential, are too talented even for the Thunder. Los Angeles should still be favorites in the West, just like Vegas holds it.

Just as Miami accomplished later in its first season as a super team, Los Angeles’s lineup of superstars need to realize their roles.

We haven’t heard the last from Bryant. His career won’t go away this quietly. But as well as he’s currently executing, Bryant needs to be the first to change.

He doesn’t need to score 30 points per night once Nash returns; the offense will be able to score 100 points with the true point guard at the helm. Bryant needs to return to utilizing more energy on defense and not taking over on 90 percent of the possessions.

It’s clear that the cure in Los Angeles is attainable.

Actually, it’s still probable.

A fix here, a fix there, and everyone can breathe.

Degrade Los Angeles all you want this winter. Come April, we'll all be getting ready for a Lakers-Heat NBA Finals.

Tweet me in April. Follow @jimmypspencer on Twitter for more NBA news and analysis.

QueueSpy, an addon to solve those LFR queue pop blues

QueueSpy, an addon to solve those LFR queue pop blues
UPDATE: Bashiok has clarified to us that this addon was running off of inaccurate information and did not work properly. More importanly, the popup's lack of progress information was intentional. More info here.

We've been getting reports that some people are not able to see how many bosses have been cleared when their Looking For Raid queue finally pops. There have been some posts popping up on the official forums, but there has not been an official blue post yet as to whether this is indeed a bug, or an intended change with the recent 5.1 patch. At this time, we believe that it is a bug as we've also been receiving reports that some players are able to see how many bosses are already killed on their queue pops.

With that in mind, some players have put their noses to the grindstone and written an addon to help you find out how many of those bosses are defeated if you find yourself with the queue pop bug. It's a quick fix, and it works quite well as a solution to a potentially annoying bug.

The addon outputs the boss total to your chat window instead of putting it back into your queue screen, which is actually a really nice work around. The addon is lightweight, and until we hear official word whether or not this is a bug or a feature, this seems to be the way to go. If you find yourself in burning need to know exactly how many bosses are waiting for you in your LFR queue, then you can download this addon over at Curse or WoWInterface. It's quick and easy to install, and requires zero configuration.

A special thanks to Stoppableforce for whipping up this addon quickly for everyone to use.

Mists of Pandaria is here! The level cap has been raised to 90, many players have returned to Azeroth, and pet battles are taking the world by storm. Keep an eye out for all of the latest news, and check out our comprehensive guide to Mists of Pandaria for everything you'll ever need to know.

Discovery Of New Mechanism For Cancer Progression

The protein Ras plays an important role in cellular growth control. Researchers have focused on the protein because mutations in its gene are found in more than 30 percent of all cancers, making it the most prevalent human oncogene. University of North Carolina Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and Harvard researchers have discovered an alternative mechanism for activating Ras that does not require mutation or hormonal stimulus. In healthy cells, Ras transmits hormone signals into the cell that prompt responses such as cell growth and the development of organs and tissues...

Need for Speed's Autolog app available now

EA and Activision both have been making a push lately for add-on iOS apps for their biggest console properties: Activision's been pushing a Call of Duty Elite app, and EA's got one related to Medal of Honor Warfare as well. And here comes EA again with another app dedicated to a big console franchise. The Need for Speed series of racing games has a stat-tracking system called Autolog, and there's now a dedicated iOS app to browse and follow up on stats and awards earned with that system.

By downloading the free app, you can browse through your friends lists and see what everyone is up to, check out your own profiles and see whatever stats or awards you've earned, hear about Need for Speed news, and even check out a map from the latest game, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, that's been all annotated with stat and other in-game information. It's pretty impressive: EA and the developers at Criterion have been building out the Autolog service quite a bit over the past few years, and this app provides a pretty direct line right into everything that the service is tracking.

Very cool indeed. I expect even more tie-in apps like this in the future -- online services like this are a big driver for these big publishers' console games lately, and releasing iOS apps is just one more way for big fans of the series to engage with the games and the franchises.

Report: Koenigsegg One:1 boasts one horsepower per kilogram, is headed to China

Koenigsegg the car company appears to be on a streak in China right now, and its namesake founder is riding the lightning with the car you see above, the Koenigsegg One:1. Scanned from a brochure for the coupe, the name is a reference to its power output of one horsepower per kilogram. It's weight isn't known, but Cars UK says it's lighter than the Agera R and so probably in the area of 1,250 to 1,350 kilograms, and hence, hp.

Koenigsegg the owner is apparently making the rounds of Asia and the Middle East to secure orders for the five One:1 models that will be produced. Cost is in the $2-million ballpark, which puts the One:1 in the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport ballpark, yet with acceleration that just might beat it. We'll probably never see it outside of scans and customs catastrophes, but it's good to see the Swedish speed merchant continually raising his game.

Official: Infiniti confirms all-new sports sedan will debut in Detroit

While the automotive world may currently be focused on the Los Angeles Auto Show, those looking to stay ahead of the curve have their sights set farther down the road. One such automaker is Infiniti. On the first of the LA press days, the Japanese luxury brand has announced an all-new model to debut in Detroit this January.

According to Infiniti, an all-new model will be unveiled at the 2013 North American International Auto show. The debut will be accompanied by a performance from world renowned Cirque Du Soleil as well as a live stream simulcast of the event.

It's unclear whether Infiniti will be showing a redesign of the G sedan, which has been spotted testing, or a new sub-G compact performance-luxury four-door. We will know for sure on January 14 when we bring you news form the Infiniti stand.

The presentation will also include an map of Infiniti's strategy moving forward, by president Johan de Nysschen. De Nysschen was appointed in July of this year, following the move of Infiniti's headquarters to Hong Kong. According to Infiniti, the luxury brand is aiming at a "new era of inspiration, growing its market share, with the strategic expansion of its business worldwide." This all-new vehicle will be an integral element to any future expansion for the Japanese automaker.

Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Live Score, Results and Highlights

The Houston Rockets (7-7) travel to Loud City tonight to face the Oklahoma City Thunder (11-4).  This is not your regular Western Conference showdown.  Tonight, James Harden and his beard head back to Oklahoma City for the first time since Sam Presti traded the dynamic two-guard last month.

Harden has not considered what it will be like when he steps on the floor to face his old team.

“To be honest, I don’t even know,” he said. “It’s gonna be a long day. It will be good to see some faces, old teammates and coaches and my family."

He explained further, “I’m on the road. I’m on the road trying to get a win. That’s no different than playing at Memphis or at Atlanta, whatever the case may be." “It’s another game,” he said.

While it may be another game for Harden, it will be a heartfelt game for all the Rockets, players and staff.

Following Tuesday’s victory over Toronto, the team flew to Minneapolis to attend the funeral service of head coach Kevin McHale’s daughter Sasha, who passed away after a battle with lupus.

Meanwhile, the Thunder have won five of their last six and have averaged 112.6 points during the stretch. On Monday, the Thunder led by 54 points in the third quarter before putting away Charlotte 114-69.

"We know we're a special team when we're sharing the ball, and that's one thing coach (Scott Brooks) has been talking about the last couple weeks," Martin told the team's official website. "Just keep on sharing the ball and trusting each other, and that's what we've been doing lately."

There will be no shortage of emotions tonight in Oklahoma City, and it should be a playoff-type atmosphere.

Los Angeles: 2013 VW Beetle Convertible debuts, priced from $24,495*

2013 VW Beetle Convertible - front three-quarter view, 60s edition, live in LA

With the second-generation modern-era Beetle, Volkswagen set out to redefine its iconic model, not just with a new shape, but also with a plan to reach a new, more balanced buying demographic. According to the German automaker, the new generation has done just that, with the 2012 model selling to male buyers to the tune of 40 percent - 50 percent with the more powerful Turbo model. The previous-generation New Beetle finished out its long run with just 28-percent male ownership.

VW has just introduced its 2013 Beetle Convertible here at the LA Auto Show, and while it looks to be an excellent new addition to the family, we're not sure how well it will fare at further balancing the model's gender scales. No matter, we say - sales are sales.

In addition to rolling out the new droptop Beetle, VW has released pricing, which starts from $24,495 for the price-leader 2.5-liter five-cylinder automatic model with 170 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. Step up to the 2.0-liter Turbo (200 hp, 207 lb-ft) with a manual transmission and you're looking at $27,795 (a dual-clutch gearbox is optional). Or for a little more cash ($27,895) you can go the iconoclast's way and specify TDI diesel motivation (140 hp, 236 lb-ft). Pricing before a la carte options can reach $31,195 for the 2.0T with optional Fender sound and navigation packages. (*All pricing excludes a $795 destination fee).

For comparison's sake, a standard 2013 Beetle hatchback - "Coupe" in VW parlance - starts at $19,795. However, that model comes standard with a six-speed manual that isn't offered on the 2.5L Convertible - the better comparison starts with the $20,895 2.5 automatic.

Regardless of which flavor Convertible is chosen, buyers will receive well-equipped models that include a standard one-touch power top, pyrotechnic rollover bars, heated V-Tex leatherette seats, alloy wheels, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity.

In an unusual move, VW has also chosen to launch new R-Line and Exclusive line model Beetle Convertibles in LA. We say "unusual" because while the racier looking R-Line and more upscale-looking Exclusive might in fact go some way toward courting the stronger male demographic the company is seeking, VW isn't going to sell them here - they're European models. If the 2013 Convertible model takes off when it goes on sale in December, however, VW admits it may take a second look at expanding the Beetle's range even further...

  • An issue causing various items to be awarded to players of the incorrect class or spec in Raid Finder has been fixed.
  • Sky Crystals will no longer function against Alani once her Nimbus Shroud has been dispelled.

Follow along for the full list of hotfixes.

Boston Red Sox: Is Closer Andrew Bailey on His Way Out?

Maybe the Boston Red Sox saw the same things that the fans and other teams saw from closer Andrew Bailey at the end of the 2012 season.

Straight fastball with very little movement. Struggled in his limited 19 games of action. A 7.04 ERA.

Terrible.

According to this tweet from ESPN's Buster Olney, the Sox are open to moving Bailey this winter.

And they should be. Bailey's numbers have declined for the past four seasons and he also cost the Sox the services of Josh Reddick. Talk about a double whammy.

Maybe the 28-year-old Bailey can regain his All-Star form of 2009 and 2010. He was hampered by a thumb injury last year and desperately needs to have a healthy season to raise his value.

It would serve the Sox well to explore the closer market and see what is available to them.

But, another tweet from Olney last month revealed that the Sox were considering trading Bailey as the compensation to the Blue Jays for manager John Farrell. You don't trade a good closer to a team that you face 18 times per season unless you are not concerned about facing him.

Adding a better closer would be a way for the Sox to significantly improve their pitching staff with one move. Maybe spending the money needed to bring in Rafael Soriano on a three-year contract would be a better way to go.

The 32-year-old Soriano has already shown that he can handle the pressure of New York and the AL East division by pitching with the Yankees and Rays.

Soriano was excellent in the closer's role after Mariano Rivera was lost for the season. Soriano is unlikely to return to the Yankees in a set-up role if Mo returns, and could make the move to the Sox if the money is right.

The Sox have two other very interesting options if they are unwilling to go with either Bailey or Soriano.

Brian Wilson and Joakim Soria have both had success at the major league level as closers. Both are coming off of major injuries that would make them much more inclined to take a one-year contract to rebuild their value. Both would likely not have an impact until June at the earliest.

Wilson is of particular interest. He is a New England native, having been born and raised in New Hampshire. He has also had tremendous success with the San Francisco Giants, who may be unwilling to bring Wilson back in 2013 due to his salary according to this report from Henry Schulman at SFGate.

Wilson is also a character of the highest order and someone that would have the ability to keep the team and clubhouse loose.

The 30-year-old Wilson is still recovering from Tommy John surgery and might be unable to start the season for the Sox, but would be a good insurance policy if they decide to go with Bailey to start the season.

Soria has sent signals that he would like to be a closer again, but also might have to resign himself to earning the job after missing all of the 2012 season due to Tommy John surgery. Soria has been an excellent closer for the Royals, holding the job full time since 2008.

This tweet from Fox Sports' Jon Paul Morosi says the Sox have already checked in on Soria, and that he makes sense as insurance if they are not convinced that Bailey can hold the job all season.

Both Wilson and Soria, if healthy, would represent an upgrade from what Bailey has shown the past two seasons.

It would serve the Sox well to protect themselves in the bullpen as much as possible next season, especially if they are reluctant to give Bailey the ball to close out games.

Mindfulness-and body-psychotherapy-based group treatment of chronic tinnitus: a randomized controlled pilot study

Background:
Tinnitus, the perception of sound in absence of an external acoustic source, impairs the quality of life in 2% of the population. Since in most cases causal treatment is not possible, the majority of therapeutic attempts aim at developing and strengthening individual coping and habituation strategies. Therapeutic interventions that incorporate training in mindfulness meditation have become increasingly popular in the treatment of stress-related disorders. Here we conducted a randomized, controlled clinical study to investigate the efficacy of a specific mindfulness- and body-psychotherapy based program in patients suffering from chronic tinnitus.
Methods:
Thirty-six patients were enrolled in this pilot study. The treatment was specifically developed for tinnitus patients and is based on mindfulness and body psychotherapy. Treatment was performed as group therapy at two training weekends that were separated by an interval of 7 weeks (eleven hours/weekend) and in four further two-hour sessions (week 2, 9, 18 and 22). Patients were randomized to receive treatment either immediately or after waiting time, which served as a control condition. The primary study outcome was the change in tinnitus complaints as measured by the German Version of the Tinnitus Questionnaire (TQ).
Results:
ANOVA testing for the primary outcome showed a significant interaction effect time by group (F = 7.4; df = 1,33; p = 0.010). Post hoc t-tests indicated an amelioration of TQ scores from baseline to week 9 in both groups (intervention group: t = 6.2; df = 17; p < 0.001; control group: t = 2.5; df = 16; p = 0.023), but the intervention group improved more than the control group. Groups differed at week 7 and 9, but not at week 24 as far as the TQ score was concerned. Conclusions: Our results suggest that this mindfulness- and body-psychotherapy-based approach is feasible in the treatment of tinnitus and merits further evaluation in clinical studies with larger sample sizes. The study is registered with clinicaltrials.gov (NCT01540357).

Kidney Tumors May Be Smarter Than We Thought

New research has found there are several different ways that kidney tumours can achieve the same result - namely, grow. Scientists have been trying to figure out how different people have kidney tumours with the same histology, or shape, although the genetic changes can vary among individual tumours. Solving that puzzle could have implications for the diagnosis and treatment if kidney cancer, which has 35 per cent mortality rate and is becoming more common. Despite advances in early detection and treatment, the mortality rate hasn't changed in decades...

Alzheimer's disease is one of the most common causes of dementia. In Germany and Switzerland alone, around 1.5 million people are affected, and forecasts predict a doubling of the number of patients worldwide within the next 20 years. The accumulation of particular abnormal proteins, including amyloid-beta among others, in patients' brains plays a central role in this disease. DeMarco Murray: Fantasy Owners Should Give Up on Oft-Injured Cowboys RB

The allure and promise of what could be with Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray needs to start giving way to what actually is. Fantasy owners can't rest their hopes on a player who, due to injuries, isn't able to take the field.

Murray has missed the last six games with a sprained left foot, but it appears he is making real progress toward playing for the first time since Week 6.

According to Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas, Murray was on the practice field for the Cowboys on Monday doing rehab work and "could practice some this week after missing the last six games with a sprained left foot."

Just hearing that news is enough to make fantasy owners' ears perk up, but is Murray a player who is really worth the trouble at this stage of the game. Considering how much time he has missed already, not to mention how frail he has been throughout his career, is he really worth the investment at this point?

Sadly, the answer is no. Murray was a pleasant surprise last season, running for 897 yards and two touchdowns on just 164 carries. But he only managed to play in just 13 games, missing the last three games due to an ankle injury.

In an interview with the Dallas Morning News prior to the start of last season, Murray made a point to say that he is not an injury-prone player.

I really don't pay too much attention to that. People will say I'm injury prone. I've gotten used to it. It's not like I've been hurt every single year where I play four or five games, then miss one or two. I missed two games my junior year (at Oklahoma) and three my freshman year.

Now, 12 weeks into the 2012 season, Murray has played in just five games. He was certainly productive when he was on the field, running for 330 yards on 75 carries, but there has to be some level of trust fantasy owners have with a player.

Whether Murray wants to admit it or not, he is earning the label of an injury-prone player. It is wholly justified right now, so fantasy owners need to start accepting the reality for what it is, rather than turn a blind eye to it and just start him whenever he comes back healthy.

Plus, when you a running back with a history of ankle problems, which Murray obviously does right now, you never know what hit will be the one that knocks him out. If he starts a game, he might play one snap, go down and be done.

The upside in Murray is huge, and will keep him relevant in fantasy for a long time, but to hope that he is capable of being a truly dominant star and a No. 1 back is asking too much.

NFL teams are forced to make tough decisions on incredibly talented players every season. Fantasy owners sometimes have to do the same thing, though they aren't exactly ruining a man's life when they do it.

Murray is too much of an injury risk at this stage of his career, which, admittedly, is still in the embryonic stages of development. Let him prove he is capable of dominating and staying healthy, then put him on your roster.
