Nick Fairley Goes Second Overall To Denver Broncos In 2011 NFL Mock Draft
With Marcell Dareus already taken, Denver?s choice becomes a good bit easier. The Broncos desperately need defensive playmakers, and Nick Fairley?s penetration skills will help them improve on the NFL?s 31st-ranked run defense.
Fairley is also the best pass-rushing DT in this draft class, and a defense that allowed the most points in the NFL last year isn?t going to turn down his ability to pressure the QB.
