Stacy Coley: Highlights, Scouting Report for 4-Star Recruit

Four-star recruit Stacy Coley is one of those tall, lanky wide receivers that you look at and think "Wow, with some meat on his bones, he could be a big-time player."

At 6'1", 175 pounds, that upside has made Coley, out of Oakland Park, Florida's Northeast High School, the focus of attention for a number of college programs.

One of the first things that you notice about Coley on tape is his long, powerful stride and explosive first step, allowing him to cover a lot of ground with minimal effort.

With 4.5 speed in the 40-yard dash and the ability to stop on a dime and start back up again—needing little time to get back up to top speed—Coley has explosive receiver written all over him.

He has great hands, uses his body to shield the ball from defenders and his exceptional vision and feel for running routes makes him a natural for the position.

If there's a concern when it comes to Coley at the next level, it's his ability—and willingness—to fight through contact.

Coley isn't known for breaking tackles, instead relying on his agility and athletic ability to make defenders miss in the open field when he doesn't use his speed to get behind defenders down the field.

As he adds bulk to his wiry frame, those concerns will quickly disappear.

Ranked by 247Sports composite ranking as the fifth-best wide receiver prospect In the country, Coley has all of the physical tools necessary to be a big-time playmaker at the next level.

There’s no reason that he couldn't make an impact from the minute he steps on campus as a freshman.
