Face the facts, the San Francisco 49ers needed some fire in their organization, they needed spirit, they needed someone to come in and give the building a swift kick in the pants.
Jim Harbaugh did just that and has his team at 5-1 in the process, so who cares if he gave a little extra hand squeeze to Jim Schwartz on Sunday after his team knocked the Lions from the NFL's unbeaten ranks.
Yep, those boys got carried away, so what's the big deal?
You don't think Mike Ditka ever barked at another coach?
How about Buddy Ryan?
What the Niners needed was some old school enthusiasm and that's what Jim Harbaugh has brought to the table.
So don't make an international incident of this. Harbaugh admitted he got a little bit carried away with the hand squeeze.

Big deal.
At least he didn't snub Schwartz.
Get off Harbaugh's back. The NFC West needed some fire. The NFC's worst division now has a tough guy in the house, a guy with some fire to win.
Evidently Harbaugh is right. He was revved up.
And guess what? So is his football team.
Because nothing says revved up like 5-1.
