Tropical Storm Ernesto gets top billing since he’s closer to land than our other storm, Florence. As of this writing, Ernesto looks to be more of a concern for Mexico and Central America than the United States. Our computer model suite is keeping the storm well south, with a possible landfall early this week near the Mexico/Belize border. The storm would then re-emerge in the Bay of Campeche for a second possible landfall over coastal Mexico.
