NFL: Check out Nike's New Carolina Panthers Logo for the 2012 NFL Season

With Nike replacing Reebok as the NFL’s primary equipment provider next season, the fans of the league expect to see changes coming to the look of their teams like the college Pro Combat uniforms in the 2012 season.

It didn’t take long for Nike to put their fingerprint on the NFL as the company changes the look of one of the first expansion teams of the 1990s.

The Carolina Panthers are the first—and currently only team—to have their logo altered since Nike took over the equipment contract for the NFL.

The new Nike look for the Panthers isn’t something that will blow people away when Cam Newton and Carolina take the field in it, but it is definitely a much sharper and modern look than the past logo.

As the logo changes for the Panthers, I would love to see an update to the uniforms to go along with the new look for Carolina next season.

Instead of the traditional gray helmets, I would like to see the Panthers go with a white helmet along with keeping the stripes and making the panther blue alternates the default home jersey.

No matter what other changes Nike will make for Carolina and other teams in the NFL, the league will get a much needed breath of fresh air from the new equipment provider.

While the change isn’t groundbreaking for the Panthers, do you like the new style for Carolina, as seen on the new gloves brought in by Nike?
