Saturday's slate offers so many games to choose from that DraftKings players can choose between noon and 6 p.m. start times. With a massive selection to choose from, here's a look at the best players from each time slot and a breakdown of who to target at each position.
Early Games
Guard: Travis Trice, Michigan State ($7,100)
Michigan State's backcourt is loaded with talent, but Travis Trice comes at a lower cost with similar production to Denzel Valentine. In fact, Trice has averaged more points (14.5) and assists (4.3) assists per game than Valentine in the last four games.
Even against a Nebraska defense that has limited opponents to 60.6 points per game, Trice can thrive from behind the arc or slashing into the paint. Tab this senior on Saturday, as he'll outperform his modest price against the Cornhuskers.
Forward: Myles Turner, Texas ($6,000)
Trusting a freshman in fantasy is difficult, but Myles Turner isn't a typical frosh forward. The 6'11" player has been inconsistent at times, but he has found ways to score at a high clip recently.
Averaging 15 points and over six rebounds in his last three games, Turner now faces the 150th-ranked Kansas defense. With a size advantage over Perry Ellis, Cliff Alexander and Jamari Traylor—who are all 6'8"—Turner will be a force for fantasy owners.
Utility: Willie Cauley-Stein, Kentucky ($5,500)
Willie Cauley-Stein doesn't typically put up astronomical numbers, but the Kentucky forward is a great fit in a utility spot. Whether it's through scoring, boards or blocks, the junior is averaging 19.4 fantasy points per game in DraftKings.
Pencil the 7-footer into the lineup for $5,500 and expect solid production against a South Carolina defense allowing 68 points per game in SEC play.
Evening Games
Guard: Jordan Sibert, Dayton ($7,500)
Whether he's the first or second option for daily players during noon matchups, Jordan Sibert is a promising option. The Dayton guard has scored 15 or more points in six of his last eight games and averages 4.1 rebounds per game.
Sibert is also an efficient scorer for the Flyers, as Matthew Schwade notes:
The leading scorer for Dayton comes at $1,600 less than Askia Booker but averages just one fantasy point less per game in DraftKings leagues. Expect great production from Sibert, even against a stout Richmond defense.
Forward: Stefan Nastic, Stanford ($7,200)
Why pay a huge price for a forward when Stefan Nastic has been one of the most consistent big men in the country? The Stanford center is averaging 13.7 points and 7.2 rebounds and has not dipped below 10 points since conference play began.
Competing with an undersized Arizona State team that has just one player standing at 6'10" or above, Nastic will have his way in the paint. Look for the Cardinal center to produce down low and solidify his role as a No. 1 forward for daily players.
UTIL: Ricky Tarrant, Alabama ($5,500)
In a previous article, Ricky Tarrant was tabbed as a guard to start in optimal lineups. He then went out and produced 21 points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal against Arkansas on the road. Tarrant was a good call then, and he's a solid choice for a utility spot on Saturday.
Facing an awful Auburn defense that allows 68 points per game, Tarrant should go off again. Levi Randolph might be the lead guard, but Tarrant's salary is $1,800 less, saving some room for other talented players.
