Even after a season that saw him injured half the season, Greg Jennings was still a highly-coveted free agent. According to Adam Schefter, Jennings has agreed to a new deal with the Minnesota Vikings.

His previous six seasons—all with the Green Bay Packers—had seen him miss a combined six games, so it isn't crazy to think that 2012 was just an aberration.
Jennings will be 30 years old on Sept. 21, so he is entering the latter stages of his career. But he is a proven threat out of the slot and a dynamic down field playmaker. One can only hope he hasn't lost his ability to gain separation.
It has been perhaps his best quality in his career.
He's had three 1,000-yard receiving seasons in his career, and he's caught as many as 12 touchdown passes twice in his career.
Jennings' 15.4 yards per catch is proof of his big-play ability.
Locking in a receiver of Jennings' caliber is a boost for any team's receiving corp. With the Green Bay Packers, Jennings at times overshadowed because of the wealth of talent on the roster.
On Minnesota, he'll likely stand out as a true No. 1 target.
With the emergence of Randall Cobb and the presence of Jordy Nelson and James Jones, Jennings became expendable. There is no doubt Jennings carries a little something extra throughout the 2013 season to prove the Packers made the wrong choice.
Jennings should become the favorite target for either Christian Ponder or Matt Cassel.
The Vikings are certainly hoping Jennings comes through big and stays healthy all or the majority of the season.
