2011 NFL mock draft comin' at ya, just two days before the NFL draft is slated to get under way.
Scheduled for 8 p.m. EST on April 28 on ESPN, this year's draft holds a lot of intrigue and plenty of question marks.
The Carolina Panthers have the No. 1 pick in the draft, and draft experts have them picking anyone from quarterbacks Blaine Gabbert and Cam Newton to defensive lineman Marcell Dareus, whose stock rose with some impressive pre-draft workouts.
LSU's Patrick Peterson is unquestionably the draft's top cornerback prospect, some calling him a once-in-a-generation player that is destined for stardom.
A lot of mock drafts have Peterson going to the San Francisco 49ers at No. 7 overall, but I actually think he's going to be selected earlier than that. I don't see how the No. 1 player in the draft possibly drops that far.
Last year's Super Bowl contenders will hope some top players drop to them or perhaps to find some diamonds in the rough, which the draft is always abundant with.
Will the Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers find their next star?
The rest of the league is hoping they won't.
So follow along, fellow football fans, as I give you my take on who will be selected where in the 2011 NFL draft.
