Following Stem Cell Infusion, New Heart Cells Increase By 30 Percent
UB research (presented at the American Heart Association annual meeting) establishes that new heart cells can be regenerated in a stem cell therapy potentially applicable to patients suffering from heart dysfunction arising from insufficient blood flow to the heart.
