2011 NBA Mock Draft: Could the Morris Twins Team Up Again at NBA Level?

2011 NBA Mock Draft Has Interesting Morris Duo

The Kansas Jayhawks had a bruising low post duo last season. Marcus and Markieff Morris ruled the day. There was nary a big man tangent that could contend with the two.

Let?s fast forward to next year when the two are dying on an NBA bench looking for playing time. The big men on campus become little fish next year. It is a sentiment that will get highlighted when the two no longer command the paint together.

Together they are amazing. Apart, they look like any other big men with some questions to their game. Marcus and Markieff are both power forwards that will struggle to find their niche at the next level.

Markieff is a power forward in heart and substance. It is nice to know that he is content to run the four with his lack of perimeter game and polish.

The real question is where to slow Marcus. The brother with a better offensive game is trying to run the three entering the draft. Mobility is sure to be a problem for him at the wing in the NBA.

The interesting question has to be whether these to can ever find each other once again in the NBA. The brothers ran the floor with amazing chemistry, and the Jayhawks were so much better for it.

With both players looking like solid top twenty picks, there is hope that they will stay in the league long enough to pull off the greatest coup of all, getting to play with each other once again.

You can?t deny that they feed off each other perfectly. Marcus can stretch the floor with his perimeter game, and Markieff can take care of the boards all day. Now if we could only combine them we would have a true number one selection.
