Kentucky guard Andrew Harrison uttered an insensitive comment about Wisconsin star Frank Kaminsky following the Wildcats' 71-64 Final Four loss Saturday. Kaminsky addressed the remark Sunday and seems intent on defusing the issue.
Matt Norlander of CBSSports.com shared what Kaminsky had to say Sunday about the controversy:
The Badgers ended Kentucky's perfect season abruptly in Indianapolis, as Kaminsky led the way with 20 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks.
ESPN Stats & Info noted how great Kaminsky has been in the NCAA tournament:
Harrison took to Twitter to apologize for what he said after the game, indicating that he reached out to Kaminsky personally.
Now that Kaminsky has addressed the matter, it appears he will shift his full focus to the national championship game clash against Duke on Monday.
Harrison seems likely to return to Lexington for his junior year, where he'd have the chance to end his college career on a better note following Kentucky's loss in the Final Four.
