The New England Patriots may have refuted notions of their decline last week, but the Pats still haven't firmly established themselves as Super Bowl contenders.
Though the Buffalo Bills do not typically represent a measuring stick for the Patriots, Sunday's contest offers an opportunity for New England to re-establish AFC East control.
But Buffalo possesses plenty of weapons that present confounding matchup problems, especially given the Pats' rash of injuries in Week 5. The likes of Marcell Dareus, Kyle Williams and Fred Jackson could all have big games as a result, meaning that first place in the division is far from a foregone conclusion for the Patriots.
