The Denver Broncos (13-3) host the San Diego Chargers (10-7) in the final divisional round playoff matchup of the weekend on Sunday afternoon.
This will be the first time the two AFC West rivals have met in the playoffs, with the teams splitting the regular season series in 2013.
The Broncos won the first game, 28-20, in Week 10 in San Diego behind four touchdown passes by Peyton Manning. The Chargers dominated the second game in Denver, behind a ferocious ball-control offense, and took home the win by a score of 27-20 in Week 15.
The Chargers entered the AFC playoffs as the final seed in the final week of the season with an overtime victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. In the Wild Card round of the playoffs last weekend, the Chargers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, 27-10, behind nearly 200 total yards of rushing from a three-headed rushing attack of Ryan Matthews, Danny Woodhead and Ronnie Brown.
The Broncos will begin postseason play as the AFC's top seed for the second consecutive season. Similar to when they began the postseason last year versus the Baltimore Ravens, the Broncos enter this game as 9.5 point favorites.
Denver will look to advance toward their ninth conference championship game in franchise history, while San Diego will be looking to make their fifth conference championship game appearance.
Kickoff is set for 4:40 EST (2:40 MST).
