Video: Cadillac's Super Bowl ad shows ATS in hell
Filed under: Sedan, Performance, Marketing/Advertising, Cadillac, Luxury
Super Bowl Sunday is a scant six days away, which means you've got less than a week left to prepare yourself for the onslaught of advertising that will commence well before kick off. We're doing our part by showing you the car commercials ahead of time so you can use those commercial breaks for more important things like evacuating your bladder or refilling the salsa, not necessarily in that order.
Cadillac has developed an ad for the Super Bowl that will be 30 seconds in length and highlight its new ATS sedan, which debuted this month at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. Unlike every other Super Bowl commercial you're probably going to see, Cadillac's playing it straight with this one. There will be no humor, no overpaid celebrity endorsement and no sweepstakes on Facebook involved.
Instead, you'll just see real footage of the ATS being tested during its development in an inhospitable environment. No, it isn't footage of the ATS playing Peek-a-boo among the snow drifts of Scandinavia or arid dunes of Death Valley. Where this footage was shot was truly hell. Descend to the first circle after the jump.

Review: 2012 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring AWD [w/video]
Filed under: Crossover, Mazda, New Car Reviews
Aging Three-Row Still Light On Its FeetAll of the auto industry's big-time players are making large three-row crossovers these days, so the segment has become extremely competitive. With stalwarts like the Honda Pilot, Chevrolet Traverse and Ford Explorer at the top of the sales charts, how does a smaller automaker like Mazda compete? Two oft-repeated words: Zoom-Zoom.
The Mazda CX-9 checks the same boxes as its competition: a beefy V6 engine, seating for up to seven, available all-wheel drive and a bevy of technology options. Those features are all part of the price of admission, but to make headway in this crowded field, that's not enough to cut it. On the market since 2007, we wanted to find out the 4,546-pound CX-9 still has the engineering mojo to dance to the head of the pack, so we grabbed the keys to a loaded Grand Touring AWD and headed for the floor.

Steve Jobs kept letter from Bill Gates on his nightstand
Bill Gates's Microsoft was a long time Apple rival, as well as a respected competitor; the two companies also collaborated many times, including Microsoft's role as one of the original Macintosh third-party developers.
The Telegraph reports that a letter to Steve Jobs from Gates was kept on Jobs's nightstand during the Apple co-founder's final days. Gates and Jobs had met to reminisce and re-connect in the months before Steve's death due to complications from cancer in October 2011.
Gates didn't reveal many details about what was in the letter, but he said, "I told Steve about how he should feel great about what he had done and the company he had built. I wrote about his kids, whom I had got to know."
After Jobs died, Gates got a phone call from Laurene Powell Jobs, Steve's widow. She said, "Look, this biography (the Walter Issacson book) really doesn't paint a picture of the mutual respect you had."
She then told Gates that the letter had meant so much to Steve that he kept it by his bed.
Gates appeared in a video interview last week where he also discussed the complex relationship between himself and Steve.

Sanho previews CloudFTP at Macworld | iWorld 2012
Sanho had its Kickstarter-funded CloudFTP at Macworld | iWorld 2012 this year, and the project has generated a lot of excitement.
Sanho's Daniel Chin originally sought $100,000 in funding through Kickstarter, but wound up with more than 2,700 backers and more than $262,000 by the time the pledge drive ended three weeks ago.
CloudFTP is an adapter that turns any USB storage device into a wireless file server. It can share files with any WiFi-enabled device and will back up data to cloud storage on the Internet. It creates its own ad-hoc wireless network to share data, and it can be accessed from a web app, iOS app (there's one for Android as well) or via FTP.
CloudFTP is expected to ship in early February to Kickstarter participants and will cost $99.95 retail. Check out the video below to discover CloudFTP can do.

NBA Trade Rumors: Chris Kaman Awaits as the Hornets Seek a Trade
In the NBA it is very rare that a quality post player would end up on the trade market. New Orleans Hornets center Chris Kaman will not be confused with the Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard, but Kaman would be a legitimate addition to any team looking to add size.
One team in particular, the Milwaukee Bucks, should be interested after learning that their starting center Andrew Bogut will miss six to eight weeks with a broken ankle. The Bucks were already a small team even with Bogut, and can use a player of Kaman’s size.
Currently sitting in the eighth playoff spot, Milwaukee can solidify their position in the tightly-packed Eastern Conference as only three games separate the sixth through twelfth-ranked teams.
Another team that should show interest is the Atlanta Hawks, who lost their All-Star Al Horford for the season to a torn pectoral muscle. With the Hawks looking to remain in the race for a more favorable playoff seed, Chris Kaman can serve as a solid temporary replacement for Horford.
Kaman’s addition to Atlanta would finally be able to play a more traditional lineup.
For several seasons the Hawks have started Al Horford at center despite being generously listed at 6’10”.
Any team that trades for Chris Kaman would be getting a former All-Star who has struggled to stay healthy since his lone All-Star Game appearance in 2010.
When healthy, Kaman is one of the top 10 centers in the NBA who possess the size of a natural post player. Career averages include 11.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game. As recently as the ’09-10 season, Kaman averaged a career-high18.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. His best season as a pro came during his ’07-08 campaign when he had double-double numbers throughout the year.
His hamstring injuries must be behind him for Kaman to have an impact with any team.
The question will be what can the New Orleans Hornets get for him? The rescinded Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Lakers trade should serve as a reminder for any potential suitors that NBA commissioner David Stern can veto any New Orleans trade as long as the NBA owns the Hornets.
Add to that his $14 million contract (albeit for the remainder of the season), which will serve as a hindrance in any trade scenario.
The best thing to do for the Hornets is to gauge the market for Kaman before they eventually waive him.
We shall wait and see.

Video: Dad disapproves of son's 530-horsepower MR2
Filed under: Coupe, Performance, Etc., Videos, Toyota, Humor
Reaction vids certainly aren't in short supply. Whether it's a mom screaming her head off during a hot lap of Laguna Seca, a little boy freaking out over the silent rush of acceleration in a Tesla Roadster, or a wife screaming expletives at her husband in Italian during a Sunday spin in a Honda Civic Type-R, these candid-camera-style videos are usually good for a few laughs.
More recently, the meme has been slathered with sex appeal to attract even more eyeballs. There's this well-known example, plus someone on YouTube who just has pretty girls ride shotgun as he takes them for a ride.
We like it best when the passenger's reaction is honest and unscripted, though. Like this example, in which a son takes his father for a ride in his pride and joy: a 530-horsepower Toyota MR2. Shot back in 2010, it's not new, but we'd never seen it before and still get a kick out of the father's response.
Take a trip with Dad after the jump to see for yourself.

Limited edition WoW cups coming to ampm stores
World of Warcraft is entering over seven years of operation and still going strong, enough so that regional advertising campaigns at widespread retailers are an attractive move. WoW has definitely eclipsed the video game market and is instead focusing on attracting new players because, for the most part, a lot of the home team market is dried up. By putting WoW in places where less typical gamers might encounter it, Blizzard has a great chance of attracting new people.
Can we please get the dataminers on this and tell us what size cups these are, as well as the materials used to make them? I love those study plastic cups. I'm waiting patiently.

Evaluation of health related quality of life in irritable bowel syndrome patients
Quality of life (QOL) is an important measure in the management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Controversy exists in the findings of studies evaluating QOL in IBS subtypes, and little is known about this issue in Iranian patients. Determination of the factors affecting QOL in IBS patients may influence treatment outcomes. The aims of this study are to: 1) compare QOL between subtypes in a sample of Iranian IBS patients, 2) determine the factors associated with QOL in IBS.
Methods:
This cross sectional study included two hundred and fifty IBS patients with the mean age (+/- standard deviation) of 31.62 (+/- 11.93) years that were referred to outpatient gastroenterology clinic. IBS patients were diagnosed based on Rome-3 criteria by a gastroenterologist, and then they were categorized into three subtypes according to the predominant type of bowel habit. The "QOL specific for IBS", "Stait-trait anxiety inventory", and "Beck depression inventory-2" questioners were used to evaluate QOL, anxiety, and depression symptoms, respectively.
Results:
The mean QOL scores in IBS mixed subtype (71.7 +/- 25.57), constipation predominant subtype (80.28 +/- 25.57), and diarrhea predominant subtype (76.43 +/- 19.13) were not different. (P value: 0.05) In multivariate linear regression analysis, anxiety symptom scores were inversely correlated with QOL scores. [Standardized beta: -0.43, (95% confidence interval: -0.70, -0.39), P value: <0.01] Conclusion: It seems reasonable to manage anxiety symptoms properly in IBS patients since this might increase their QOL.Key words: Quality of life; Irritable bowel syndrome; Gender; Anxiety; Depression.
Villanova Basketball: Team Effort Not Enough Against Marquette
The Villanova Wildcats entered the game at 10-11 on the season, trying to get back to .500 and to get their first win against a ranked opponent. They fell short on both, 82-78, but not for a lack of effort and heart.
The Wildcats came out blazing in the Wells Fargo Center, holding a 30-12 lead midway through the first half. They were playing tight defense, grabbing almost every rebound and even knocking down shots from the outside.
After hitting their first four attempted threes, they were just 4-of-16 the rest of the game. To Marquette's credit, they never let the game get away from them and they stormed back, finishing the half on a 24-16 run, trailing by 10 at the break.
As Villanova has so often done this season, they waited a few minutes to start playing in the second half. In the first 90 seconds, Marquette had cut the lead to five. By the three-minute mark, Villanova's two big men, Mouphtaou Yarou and Markus Kennedy were on the bench with four fouls each.
No matter what obstacles they had to climb, the Wildcats stuck together, played tough and as a team. They had five players score in double figures along with five who had at least two assists.
JayVaughn Pinkston continued his freshman season surge with 17 points and five rebounds. Dominic Cheek has 16 points and six rebounds. James Bell brought a ton of energy to go along with his 13 points and four rebounds.
Little-used junior big man Maurice Sutton gave the performance of his life, with 11 points and nine rebounds. His intensity and enthusiasm truly carried the 'Cats through the second half.
Usual scoring leader Maalike Wayns scored 12 points in 28 minutes. For the second straight game he sat for a significant stretch due to foul trouble after a questionable charge call. Villanova struggles too much to score with Wayns on the bench, and his absence sapped their early momentum.
But more than anything else, Villanova lost this game with sloppy and careless play. Turnovers, fouls and poor shot selection being the worst culprits.
The Wildcats finished the game with 20 turnovers and were whistled for 26 fouls, including two technicals. They also took two horrible three-point attempts in the final minutes with the game still in reach.
In the end, Villanova played another tough game. No matter who they play, they make the opponent work for the win. Too often, Villanova finds a way to give the game away.
In fairness, Marquette had the two best players on the court in Darius Johnson-Odom and Jae Crowder. The duo combined for 46 points, 18 rebounds and nine assists. Johnson-Odom in particular proved hard to stop as he dissected the Wildcat defense on possession after possession.
Villanova just doesn't have the experience or the know-how yet to hang with the upper echelon teams in the Big East. They are improving and they are a team worthy of watching, but it may not be until next season that Jay Wright's hard work and coaching will come to fruition.
They have a lot of time to think about this game though, as they don't play again until they visit Pittsburgh next Sunday. Hopefully by then they can figure out a way to defend without fouling. Hopefully they can earn a well-deserved win.
They may not play pretty, but they bring it every night and there is a lot to be said for that.

Lingual adds Siri language translation to jailbroken iPhones
Now that we can jailbreak the iPhone 4S, jailbreak developers can finally use Siri in their tweaks. One such tweak is Lingual which adds language translation to our favorite voice assistant. The tweak, available from the Big Boss repository in Cydia, lets you say "Siri, What is how are you in Spanish" and Siri will respond with "Cómo estás."
The tweak uses the Bing API to handle all the translation requests and, as a result, can support more than 30 languages. It's based on the AssistantExtensions platform and will install that tweak along with Lingual. AssistantExtensions is an architecture that makes it easy to create Siri extensions like Lingual. It's free and has both tutorials and templates to get you started.
If you have a jailbroken iPhone 4S and give Lingual a try, let us know what you think in the comments. I played around with Lingual and it works reasonably well. It's accuracy is based on Bing so the translation sometimes is hit or miss, but the tweak itself is stable.

Confirmed: Bugatti orders two more years worth of transmissions... but where are they going?
The automotive industry tends to work by certain norms and patterns. For example, by the time one model is ready to be phased out, we usually have a pretty good idea of how its replacement is shaping up and when it will appear. But Bugatti, of course, is no typical automaker.
The House that Ettore Built has, for the past seven years, subsisted on the Veyron alone. Don't get us wrong, it's one heck of an automobile around which to build a brand, but it won't be around forever. In fact, Bugatti announced a while ago that Veyron production was running its course and nearing its end. The open topped Grand Sport, as it turns out, was outside that original allotment, but even that is nearing the end of its road.
So you can imagine our surprise when Ricardo, the company that makes the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission for the Veyron, announced today that it had extended its contract with Bugatti for another two years. Which would be straightforward enough if there were cars in which Bugatti would be installing said transmissions, but as we already established, the marque's sole product is nearing the end of its life-cycle, with no replacement in sight.
So where are these transmissions going? There can only be a few explanations. One is that Bugatti is planning to extend Veyron production with another derivative - likely the Super Grand Sport that is expected to combine the removable roof panel on the Grand Sport with the more powerful engine and bodywork of the Super Sport. Another is that the Galibier - a four-door super-sedan in the pipeline at Bugatti's Molsheim, France HQ - is closer than previously expected, but that model is expected to shift to a different type of transmission altogether.
One possibility we can't quite accept is that Bugatti is stockpiling components as substantial as a gearbox without having a model in which to install them, so watch this space for more news. In the meantime, scope out the press release after the jump to inspect for yourself.

NFL: Check out Nike's New Carolina Panthers Logo for the 2012 NFL Season
With Nike replacing Reebok as the NFL’s primary equipment provider next season, the fans of the league expect to see changes coming to the look of their teams like the college Pro Combat uniforms in the 2012 season.
It didn’t take long for Nike to put their fingerprint on the NFL as the company changes the look of one of the first expansion teams of the 1990s.
The Carolina Panthers are the first—and currently only team—to have their logo altered since Nike took over the equipment contract for the NFL.
The new Nike look for the Panthers isn’t something that will blow people away when Cam Newton and Carolina take the field in it, but it is definitely a much sharper and modern look than the past logo.
As the logo changes for the Panthers, I would love to see an update to the uniforms to go along with the new look for Carolina next season.
Instead of the traditional gray helmets, I would like to see the Panthers go with a white helmet along with keeping the stripes and making the panther blue alternates the default home jersey.
No matter what other changes Nike will make for Carolina and other teams in the NFL, the league will get a much needed breath of fresh air from the new equipment provider.
While the change isn’t groundbreaking for the Panthers, do you like the new style for Carolina, as seen on the new gloves brought in by Nike?

2012 NFL Mock Draft: Elite Prospects Destined for Top 5
The 2012 NFL Draft class is loaded with talent, from elite quarterbacks, to explosive playmakers, to fearsome defenders.
While there are numerous Pro Bowl-caliber prospects available, only the best of the best will be drafted in the top five.
Draft prospects often act like they don't care when they get selected. However, being drafted in the top five is a source of great pride, and perhaps more importantly, carries major financial implications.
Look no further than last year, when wide receivers A.J. Green and Julio Jones were selected with the fourth and sixth overall picks, respectively.
Green was drafted in the top five and rewarded with a four-year, $19.6 million contract. Jones, taken just two picks later, will make $3.2 million less over the course of his contract.
There are plenty of quality prospects this year, but only a few will be lucky enough to call themselves a top-five pick. We'll highlight them in this week's 2012 mock draft.
1. Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
At this point, Andrew Luck could sleep with Jim Irsay's wife, and he'd still be the first overall pick.
Luck is as much of a sure thing as there can be in the draft. He has every tool necessary to become the NFL's best quarterback in a few seasons.
He has great size (6'4", 235 pounds), a rocket launcher for an arm and he can fit the ball through the smallest of openings.
Despite his physical characteristics, his best quality is his mind. Luck has been running a pro-style offense at Stanford and his understanding of the quarterback position is very advanced.
He'll be a Pro Bowler within five years.
2. St. Louis Rams: Matt Kalil, OT, USC
The Rams desperately need someone to protect Sam Bradford, and Kalil is the best offensive lineman available. He is legitimately one of the best offensive line prospects in the last decade.
The 6'7", 295 pound tackle has great footwork, mobility and awareness. He should make a seamless transition to the next level based on his role in USC's pass-happy offense.
The Rams could also draft wide receiver Justin Blackmon here, but Kalil is the more practical option.
3. Minnesota Vikings: Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
The Vikings have multiple needs and might be better off landing more draft picks.
If they do keep the pick, I like Claiborne here. The Vikings have one of the NFL's worst secondaries, and Claiborne is a shutdown corner.
His speed, ball skills and awareness are ideal for an NFL defensive back. He also has the size (6'0", 190 pounds) to get physical and jam receivers at the line of scrimmage.
4. Cleveland Browns: Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
If Robert Griffin III falls to Cleveland, the Browns will probably snag him. However, I'm expecting someone to trade up and draft him at No. 3.
If that happens, the Browns should draft Richardson, who is unquestionably the best running back available. Peyton Hillis was a huge bust this season and will likely be leaving in free agency.
Richardson would be the perfect replacement. Everyone loves Luck, but Richardson will be the best player from this class. With his physical tools and work ethic, he will be a monster in the NFL.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama
The Buccaneers have plenty of issues, but the most glaring is their horrible secondary. They need to upgrade at cornerback, and they will do that by adding either Claiborne or Kirkpatrick.
If Minnesota does trade its pick, Claiborne should still be available. If he isn't, Kirkpatrick is a great consolation prize.
Kirkpatrick's size, athleticism and technique have had pro scouts drooling for years.
6. Washington Redskins: Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor
The Redskins may have to trade up to get RG3, but I think they'll do whatever it takes to get him to the nation's capital.
Washington needs to put the Rex Grossman era behind it immediately, and the addition of the Heisman Trophy winner would give the fanbase something to be excited about.
Griffin III isn't as polished as Luck, but he may be better suited for the modern game. He's a top-five caliber talent, so the Redskins will be even more thrilled if they can pick him up at No. 6.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
Jacksonville will be ecstatic if Blackmon falls to the Jaguars at No. 7.
The Jaguars need another weapon for young quarterback Blaine Gabbert, and Blackmon is the best wide receiver in this class.
I wouldn't be surprised if somebody trades into the top five to draft him, but if the Jaguars can select him here, they'll have one of the draft's biggest steals.
8. Miami Dolphins: Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa
This isn't a sexy pick, but the Dolphins need some help on the offensive line. They also need a quarterback, but unless they trade up for RG3, it isn't happening in this year's draft.
9. Carolina Panthers: David DeCastro, G, Stanford
Personally, I would love to see Carolina trade up to get Blackmon. It's scary to think what Cam Newton could do with Blackmon on the outside.
However, if Carolina stays put, it should improve its offensive line. Notre Dame receiver Michael Floyd isn't worth a top-10 pick, and DeCastro could step in and start in the NFL tomorrow.
10. Buffalo Bills: Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford
Demetrius Bell hasn't lived up to his potential and is a free agent this offseason. The Bills would be smart to upgrade at tackle.
11. Kansas City Chiefs: Luke Kuechly, ILB, Boston College
The Chiefs could use an offensive tackle, but with Kalil, Reiff and Martin off the board, they should turn their attention to defense.
Kuechly is a tackling machine with outstanding instincts. A Kuechly-Derrick Johnson combo would be one of the best linebacker duos in the league.
12. Seattle Seahawks: Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina
The Seahawks have plenty of holes to fill, and if Red Bryant leaves for free agency, they will look at Coples. However, the big defensive end had a down year at Carolina.
He really struggled against double-teams and chip blocks from running backs. If he doesn't improve in those areas, he'll never be a force in the NFL.
13. Arizona Cardinals: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
Arizona really needs an offensive tackle to replace Levi Brown, but the top three are off the board, and 13th overall is too early for Florida State's Zebrie Sanders.
Floyd would give the Cardinals another playmaker and draw some attention away from Larry Fitzgerald. Floyd had 100 catches for 1,147 yards and nine touchdowns this season.
14. Dallas Cowboys: Mark Barron, S, Alabama
If the Cowboys are going to make the playoffs next season, they must add a defensive back. Barron is the best available at this point. He's a versatile safety who excels in both pass and run coverage.
15. Philadelphia Eagles: Vontaze Burfict, ILB, Arizona State
The Eagles have loads of talent, but until they upgrade their linebacker corps, they will continue to have disappointing seasons.
Burfict would be a great fit. The violent tackler has all the tools necessary to be Ball So Hard University's next great linebacker.
However, his work ethic and dedication to the game have been questioned. If he doesn't improve his focus, he could end up being a bust.
16. New York Jets: Courtney Upshaw, OLB, Alabama
The Jets could use another pass-rusher, and Upshaw is the best defender available. He has great instincts and is willing to take on bigger blockers. He would be a good addition to Rex Ryan's defense.
He had 48 tackles this season at Alabama, including six in the BCS National Championship.
17. Cincinnati Bengals (from Oakland): David Wilson, RB, Virginia Tech
Cincinnati should package its two first-round picks to trade up and select Trent Richardson.
If it doesn't move up, Wilson would be a solid option to replace Cedric Benson. He had 1,709 rushing yards and nine touchdowns in 2011.
18. San Diego Chargers: Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
Vincent Jackson is headed for free agency, and I wouldn't be surprised if he bolts.
Even if he stays, Philip Rivers could use another weapon. Wright is small (5'9", 190 pounds), but he's elusive and has exceptional speed, a la Steve Smith (Carolina version).
Wright won't be able to blow by defensive backs as easily in the NFL, but if he polishes his route running, he could become the best wide receiver in this class.
19. Chicago Bears: Alshon Jeffery, WR, South Carolina
Jay Cutler needs a new toy to play with, and Jeffery could be the perfect fit.
He has elite size (6'4", 229 pounds), and was productive in his junior season, putting up 762 yards and eight touchdowns.
In the Capitol One Bowl, Jeffery was dominant. Despite getting ejected, he finished with 148 yards and a touchdown on just four receptions.
20. Tennessee Titans: Melvin Ingram, DE, South Carolina
The Titans desperately need to put more pressure on the quarterback, and Ingram is the best pass-rusher available at this point.
21. Cincinnati Bengals: Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama
The Bengals may draft Jenkins with the 17th pick, but if they opt for Wilson, they should snag the cornerback here.
Jenkins is an exceptional talent, but he was dismissed from Florida after numerous run-ins with the law.
If he keeps his nose clean, Jenkins could eventually be the best cover corner in the league.
22. Cleveland Browns (from Atlanta): Zebrie Sanders, OT, Florida State
Tony Pashos is one of the worst right tackles in the league. The Browns would be smart to upgrade that position immediately.
23. Detroit Lions: Zach Brown, LB, North Carolina
The Lions might have the best D-line in football, but they could still use some help defensively. They're reportedly looking at Brown, who would be a great fit in Detroit.
Brown recorded 105 tackles and forced six turnovers last season, earning him All-ACC honors.
24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska
The Steelers don't have any glaring needs, so they'll likely take the best defender available. Dennard fits that bill and would be a welcome addition to the Pittsburgh secondary.
Dennard is an exceptional talent with a bit of a nasty streak that Pittsburgh loves to see. If you didn't notice, that was Dennard scrapping with Alshon Jeffery in the Capital One Bowl.
25. Denver Broncos: Devon Still, DT, Penn State
The Broncos need another wide receiver, but with the top four off the board, they should turn to defense.
Defensive tackle is a position the Broncos need to upgrade and Still would be a perfect fit. He's an excellent run-stopper, and he's always wreaking havoc in the middle of the line.
Defensive tackle is one of the most underrated positions in the NFL. In a few years, Still could have the biggest impact of any defender in this draft.
26. Houston Texans: Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State
The Texans could use a No. 2 receiver to draw attention away from Andre Johnson, but I doubt they'll reach for one here.
Look for them to upgrade their D-line by picking up Cox.
27. New England Patriots (from New Orleans): Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State
The Patriots have plenty of options with their two late picks, but I expect them to beef up their defensive line. Adding the 6'3", 310-pound Worthy would do just that.
28. Green Bay Packers: Ronnell Lewis, OLB, Oklahoma
The Packers could use some more production opposite of Clay Matthews. Lewis would be a great pickup.
29. Baltimore Ravens: ILB, Alabama
The Ravens should be looking for the successor to Ray Lewis' throne in the middle. The hard-hitting Hightower would be the perfect apprentice.
With some proper teaching, Hightower could be the best linebacker from this draft.
30. San Francisco 49ers: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Jarvis Jones was one of the most productive pass-rushers in college football, racking up 13.5 sacks and 70 tackles. He would be a good fit in San Fran.
31. New York Giants: Lamar Miller, RB, Miami
Running back isn't the Giants' biggest need, but Ahmad Bradshaw isn't an elite back and Brandon Jacobs is getting awfully expensive.
Miller would be a cheap and effective addition for New York. He's an explosive running back and kick returner who's capable of taking it to the house every time he touches the ball.
His draft stock is rising, so he might get picked earlier. If he's still available, the Giants will get one of the most dangerous playmakers in this class.
32. New England Patriots: Whitney Mercilus, DE, Illinois
A versatile defensive end/outside linebacker, Mercilus would be a perfect fit in Bill Belichick's defense.
